Who We Are
About the New England Bridge Conference
Learn who we are, how we’re organized, and how we support bridge across New England
The New England Bridge Conference is ACBL District 25, serving players across all six New England states. We are part of the American Contract Bridge League and work to support more than 7,000 members by organizing regional tournaments, sharing resources, and helping clubs grow. Our goal is to make bridge welcoming, fair, and enjoyable for everyone in our community.
As part of the American Contract Bridge League, NEBC connects local New England players with the largest bridge organization in North America, which supports hundreds of thousands of members and millions of tables of play each year. This connection gives our region consistent rules, fair competition standards, and access to national programs that help players grow and stay engaged with the game.
NEBC also has an important responsibility here at home. As stated in our bylaws, the Conference promotes bridge across the six New England states and conducts regional tournaments on behalf of District 25. We work closely with local units to support club activities, coordinate qualifying events, and ensure that tournaments run smoothly and fairly for players at every level. Our volunteers, committees, and board members all play a part in keeping bridge strong, welcoming, and well‑organized throughout the region.

Never played before? No problem!
Our tournaments welcome beginners with easy‑to‑follow formats and plenty of friendly guidance. Players are grouped by skill level so you’ll be scored against others with similar experience, using a system called “strats” that keeps competition fair and fun.
No matter your experience level, you’ll meet supportive players who are happy to help you learn as you go.
